Algiers – November 2025 – In a step toward reshaping Algerian-German economic cooperation, a high-level meeting brought together Mr. Tobias Gotthardt, Vice-Minister at the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy in Germany, and Mr. Kamal Moula, President of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA). The talks, held at the headquarters of AHK Algeria and attended by its president alongside a joint Algerian and German delegation, marked an important moment in the evolving bilateral partnership.
The exchanges delved deeply into the current business climate and the expanding economic opportunities between Algeria and Germany. Both sides examined prospects for cooperation across key sectors—industry, energy, and technology—highlighting the increasing strategic weight of the Algerian market at a moment of global economic restructuring. The discussions reflected a shared determination to elevate cooperation beyond traditional frameworks, moving toward a denser, more structured, and production-oriented economic approach.
Central to the dialogue was the ambition to promote local production, stimulate co-investment, and generate innovative synergies capable of driving sustainable growth. Both delegations emphasized that the future of bilateral cooperation must be anchored in mutually beneficial industrial integration and high-value projects that respond to the economic transformations underway in both countries.
