Once abroad, Moroccans are left to fend for themselves, stripped of institutional support, political backing, or meaningful consular protection.
In the end, the suffering of Moroccans in Spain is a mirror held up to the Moroccan state itself. A regime incapable of guaranteeing dignity at home cannot pretend to protect its citizens abroad.
