Agrodiv Advances Industrial Expansion Strategy with New Production Units and Investment Scaling in 2026

Algiers — The public agro-industrial group Agrodiv is preparing to launch new production units during the current year, as part of a structured strategy aimed at consolidating its growth trajectory and reinforcing its position within Algeria’s industrial and agro-food landscape.
In a statement to the Algerian Press Service, the acting Chief Executive Officer, Selim Djenihi, outlined the group’s roadmap for 2026, emphasizing a series of strategic projects designed to expand production capacity, respond to increasing domestic demand, and strengthen the group’s contribution to the national economy.
This orientation includes the commissioning of modern and efficient production units, alongside the reactivation of previously recovered industrial assets within the framework of state policy aimed at reintegrating such entities into the economic circuit. This process builds on the trajectory initiated in 2025, during which Agrodiv incorporated several recovered enterprises.
According to Djenihi, the integration process was conducted through a structured organizational and operational approach that ensured a smooth transition and progressive absorption into Agrodiv’s production system. Among the entities integrated are the beverages and preserves subsidiary in N’gaous, as well as the Eastern cereals and preserves subsidiary.
Parallel to this expansion, Agrodiv is undertaking efforts to modernize its existing production units, with a view to enhancing capacity and improving product quality. These initiatives are supported by targeted training programs aimed at strengthening human resource capabilities and ensuring sustained operational performance.
The group is also pursuing the extension of its investments in agro-food processing through the adoption of modern technologies and the upgrading of production lines. This approach is contributing to the diversification of its product range and the delivery of higher-quality outputs aligned with national market needs.
In addition, Agrodiv seeks to deepen cooperation with both national and international partners through industrial partnerships and joint projects focused on expertise exchange, technology transfer, and the expansion of production activities. The strengthening of export orientation and the creation of added value for the national economy remain central pillars of the group’s strategy for 2026.
Djenihi further highlighted a marked diversification of the company’s product portfolio, accompanied by a tangible improvement in production levels over the past year, with various units recording increased activity volumes and higher operational rates.
