Air Algérie Expands Domestic Network with 84 Additional Weekly Flights to Boost Connectivity and Development

Algiers – September 2025 – Air Algérie has unveiled a sweeping expansion of its domestic network, announcing the launch of 84 additional weekly flights starting October 26, 2025. This ambitious program, designed to meet the surging demand for mobility across the country, translates into an extra 11,500 seats per week, significantly strengthening the national carrier’s service offering.
The initiative includes the introduction of 19 new weekly connections operated by Air Algérie Express, the subsidiary dedicated to domestic routes. This expansion alone will provide approximately 3,664 additional seats, thereby enhancing coverage across diverse destinations nationwide. With these additions, the reinforcement of the domestic network will ultimately total 103 new flights every week, representing close to 15,164 additional seats.
In a statement, the airline emphasized that this initiative is not merely a logistical adjustment but a cornerstone of a broader national vision aimed at ensuring equal access to mobility for all Algerians. The expanded network is also positioned as a strategic lever to support the country’s economic growth, social cohesion, and tourism development.
Air Algérie further reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to modernizing its fleet and continuously upgrading the quality of its services.
