Announced as part of its “Light Trip” fare class, the offer is valid for round-trip tickets booked until August 31, 2025, for travel scheduled up to October 25, 2025.

This initiative comes as a welcome opportunity for Algerian travelers still contemplating summer vacations, providing access to key European destinations at exceptionally low rates. The Light Trip formula is designed for those seeking to travel without checked luggage, thereby minimizing costs. However, passengers retain the option to purchase checked baggage allowances later through various flexible channels.

Discounted Routes Across France and Italy

Air Algérie’s booking platform showcases a range of promotional fares under the Light Trip scheme, including:

• Lyon – Constantine: starting from €119.67

• Toulouse – Oran: priced at €108.74

• Algiers – Rome: from 18,623 DZD

• Constantine – Paris Charles de Gaulle: starting from 80,811 DZD

• Béjaïa – Lyon: from 17,198 DZD

These rates apply exclusively to round-trip bookings and are non-refundable under the Light Trip conditions. Ticket modifications are permitted, though subject to applicable change fees.

This campaign significantly lowers the barrier to spontaneous travel between Algeria and Europe during the late summer season, reflecting Air Algérie’s strategic focus on enhancing competitiveness in the regional aviation market. The airline is aiming to capture a larger share of budget-conscious travelers while retaining flexibility options for additional services.

Flexible Options for Checked Baggage

While the Light Trip fares are tailored to travelers journeying with hand luggage only, Air Algérie has built in mechanisms to accommodate evolving passenger needs. Travelers may add checked baggage at any time—either during the ticket purchase or after—via:

• The “Manage My Booking” section on the airline’s website

• The Air Algérie mobile app

• The customer service call center

• Any of the airline’s physical ticketing offices

This flexibility enables travelers to adapt their plans even after booking, a crucial feature for those making last-minute decisions or traveling for varied durations.

Ongoing Promotions Beyond Europe

These new France and Italy offers come in addition to Air Algérie’s earlier promotions to Turkey. Notably, the Algiers–Antalya route is currently available for 41,911 DZD in economy class, with a 23 kg checked baggage allowance included in the fare.
