Air Algérie’s Osra Offer: Discounts of Up to 70% Bring Increased Summer Ticket Sales

Algiers- Algeria, May 10, 2024 – Air Algérie’s Osra offer, launched in the final week of April for the summer of 2024, has significantly increased ticket sales for the national airline due to the attractive rates it offers to customers.

Mehdi Sofiane Akache, head of Air Algérie’s agency monitoring service, highlighted one of the key advantages of this promotional offer: “Osra is an offer launched on April 22, with discounts of up to 70%.” He added, “It is primarily intended for Air Algérie customers residing in Algeria or those living abroad. To benefit from this offer, customers can visit one of our agencies in the 58 provinces. They can also make their purchase online through our company’s official website or simply by using the application. Payment can be made online, or even through telesales. Tickets are also available at our agencies abroad.”

Akache emphasized that this offer is unique for a specific reason: “It’s an offer that’s unprecedented; the timing has made it exceptional and successful. We’ve seen offers like this before, but it was during slow periods. From June to September, it’s a first for Air Algérie.”

Regarding the conditions for customers to benefit from this offer, Akache clarified: “Customers must be a family, as the name suggests. The family must consist of at least one parent, either the father or the mother, and at least one child, or even just the father and mother alone.” “The number of children is not limited. However, there is an age limit; they must not be older than 21. Sales will continue until August 31, and travel must be completed by September 30,” he concluded.

Paris-Algiers for €250

In terms of ticket prices, it’s noteworthy that prices via the Osra offer have significantly decreased. For instance, the price of a ticket from a French city to Algiers starts from €199, whereas last year at the same time, the ticket price ranged between €500 and €600.

“It’s normal for such a promotion to attract a lot of customers. Since its launch, thousands of Algerians have already purchased tickets and planned their trip to return to the country,” Akache told the press.

Through Air Algérie’s Osra offer, the price of a ticket from Paris to Annaba is €250, the same as from the French capital to Algiers, Béjaïa, Biskra, Constantine, El-Oued, Chlef, Oran, Sétif, and Tlemcen. From Metz to Algiers, Oran, and Constantine, the ticket price is €239. The same price applies to a ticket from Lille to Algiers, Constantine, and Oran, or from Toulouse and Lyon to Algiers, Constantine, Bejaïa, and Sétif. From Marseille to Algiers, Annaba, Béjaïa, and Sétif, the ticket price is €199, and the same fare applies to tickets from Nice, Bordeaux, and Montpellier to Algiers, Oran, and Constantine.
