ALGIERS- In a notable display of appreciation for President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause, Al Jazeera’s prominent presenter, Jamal Rayyan, showered the Algerian leader with heartfelt praise. Rayyan’s words underscored the significance of President Tebboune’s recent statements in defense of the Palestinian people, emphasizing that they are not terrorists but valiant defenders of their homeland.
In a post on his account on the “X” platform (formerly Twitter), Rayyan wrote, “A mark of distinction on the forehead of this passionate nationalist Arab leader who fearlessly spoke the truth during a time when many Arab voices remained silent.” He extended his greetings to President Tebboune, saying, “Please convey my warm regards to Algerian leader Abdelmadjid Tebboune and the remarkable people of Algeria.”
