Algeria Condemns Zionist Entity’s Aggression Against Iran, Calls for Global Action Against Expansionist Terror

In a scathing statement, Algeria denounces the Zionist regime’s unlawful attack on Iran as a flagrant breach of international law and a dangerous provocation, warning of grave regional repercussions.

Algiers, Algeria | June 13th, 2025 — Algeria has fiercely condemned the latest act of aggression by the Zionist entity against the Islamic Republic of Iran, labeling it a “dangerous and unjustifiable escalation” that represents a blatant violation of international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter. The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs released a statement on Friday, denouncing the assault as part of a broader, reckless strategy of regional destabilization and unchecked expansionism.

The statement emphasized that the aggression—carried out with impunity—has been emboldened by “direct complicity and the shameful complacency of the so-called international community,” particularly those powers that continue to shield the Zionist regime from accountability on the global stage. Algeria accused the occupying entity of persistently undermining peace and dialogue through a logic of domination, coercion, and brute force, especially at the expense of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.

“Such provocative actions,” the statement continued, “constitute a grave threat to international peace and security and reflect a persistent colonial mindset that seeks to impose hegemony through military might and political blackmail.”

Algeria called upon the United Nations Security Council to uphold its responsibilities and take urgent, decisive measures to curb the Zionist entity’s expansionist ambitions. Algiers also urged an international mobilization to confront and isolate the Zionist regime, which it considers the principal source of instability in the Middle East and beyond.

“The international community must no longer remain silent or complicit,” the statement concluded. “The time has come to put an end to the impunity of the Zionist entity before it plunges the entire region into irreversible chaos.”
