Algeria Continues Humanitarian Aid Efforts for the People of Gaza

ALGIERS- Algeria remains committed to delivering crucial humanitarian aid to the population of the Gaza Strip, who have been victims of a devastating and violent offensive carried out by the occupying Zionist forces.

As reported by national television, the humanitarian operation continued on Monday at the Boufarik military airport in Blida, as well as at the Tafraoui air school airfield in Oran.

Cargo planes belonging to the People’s National Army (ANP) will transport these essential supplies to El Arich airport in Egypt, from where they will be further transported to the besieged Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing.

In response to the urgent situation, Algeria, under the guidance of President Tebboune, made the decision last Saturday to dispatch significant humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza. The first two cargo planes, carrying over 30 tonnes of aid, arrived at El Arich airport on Sunday.

This vital assistance includes provisions such as food, medical supplies, clothing, and tents. The ANP Air Forces will coordinate an airlift operation, utilizing multiple aircraft, to ensure the swift and efficient delivery of these supplies, as confirmed by the same source.
