ALGIERS, March 7th, 2026 โย The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Saturday, reiterated his heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs of the military transport plane crash in the 1st Military Region, following the death of two additional officers.
โIt is with profound sadness and deep sorrow that the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense, has learned of the passing of two more officers among the wounded from the military transport plane crash that occurred on Thursday in the 1st Military Region, bringing the total number of officers who have fallen as martyrs in this tragic accident to four,โ the message of condolences reads.
In this painful moment, โMr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defense, reiterates his sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, praying to Almighty Allah to surround the deceased with His holy mercy, grant patience and solace to their loved ones, while wishing a swift recovery to the two other injured personnel.
