One notable initiative is the ambitious program launched by Baladna, which spans 117 hectares and aims to achieve self-sufficiency in milk production, especially given that Algeria currently imports powdered milk worth approximately one billion dollars. This program is a strategic move towards establishing Algeria as a key player in the global food industry and reducing its dependency on imports.
