Algeria, Mozambique Sign Multiple Cooperation Agreements

ALGIERS- President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the Republic of Algeria, alongside his Mozambican counterpart, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, co-chaired a ceremony on Thursday for the signing of several cooperation agreements between the two countries.

The signing ceremony, held at the Presidential Palace, encompassed agreements covering plant protection, plant quarantine, animal health, as well as cooperation in the energy sector and the mutual visa waiver for holders of diplomatic or service passports.

In addition to these agreements, a joint communique was signed during President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi’s visit to Algeria for friendship and working purposes. The signing of these agreements reflects the commitment of both nations to deepen and broaden their cooperation across various fields, fostering stronger ties and mutual benefits.
