Algeria Secures Permanent Membership in the Executive Bureau of the International Camel Organization

ALGIERS- In a historic achievement for Algeria’s camel racing community, the nation has secured permanent membership in the Executive Bureau of the International Camel Organization (ICO). This remarkable feat was realized during the ICO meeting held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, signifying Algeria’s growing influence in the global camel racing arena.

The Algerian National Camel Racing Association, under the astute leadership of Bouam Abdullah, has played an instrumental role in securing this permanent membership. Mr. Abdullah, known for his unwavering dedication to the sport, has been appointed as the official representative of the State of Algeria within the International Camel Racing Federation, further cementing the nation’s position as a force to be reckoned with in the world of camel racing.

Camel racing enthusiasts and stakeholders worldwide are hailing this achievement as a significant milestone for Algeria. The nation’s investment in the sport, coupled with the relentless pursuit of excellence by the Algerian National Camel Racing Association, has propelled Algeria onto the international stage.

In addition to Algeria’s newfound permanent membership, the third General Assembly of the International Camel Racing Federation recommended Prince Fahd bin Djalaoui as its President until 2028.
