Algeria Sets Final Hadj 2026 Pilgrimage Lists: Nationwide Draw Scheduled for Next Saturday

Algiers – November 2025 – Algeria is entering the decisive stage of preparations for the Hadj season 1447H/2026, as the Ministry of the Interior, Local Assemblies and Transport announced that the final draw for the selection of pilgrims will take place next Saturday, 22 November 2025, across municipal headquarters nationwide.
In its official communiqué, the ministry informed all citizens registered for the draw that this operation will determine the final and definitive lists of those eligible to perform the sacred pilgrimage during the upcoming season. The draw—an essential procedural step designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity—will be carried out at the seats of the People’s Communal Assemblies (APC) or at any other venues deemed suitable by local authorities.
The ministry invited all concerned applicants to attend and follow the proceedings directly, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to a transparent process conducted in full view of the public. This participatory approach, long anchored in Algeria’s management of Hadj affairs, aims to reinforce trust, guarantee integrity in the selection process, and provide clarity to thousands of families awaiting the results.
