Set for May 22–28, 2025, in the Mauritanian capital, the flagship fair aims to consolidate Algeria’s regional economic footprint, promote national production, and reinforce South-South cooperation through direct sales and sectoral partnerships.

Algiers, Algeria | May 3rd, 2025 — In a dynamic move reflecting Algeria’s expanding economic diplomacy and growing industrial base, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion has officially announced the organization of the 7th Algerian Products Fair in Nouakchott, Mauritania, scheduled to take place from May 22 to 28, 2025. The announcement, made public via a ministerial communiqué on Wednesday, marks a strategic step in Algeria’s broader plan to strengthen its regional trade presence and diversify its export destinations.

Held under the auspices of the Algerian government and in close partnership with Mauritanian institutions, this flagship event will serve as a vital platform to showcase Algeria’s productive capabilities across a wide spectrum of sectors, including heavy and light industry, pharmaceuticals, electronics, mining and energy (including renewables), public works, agro-industry, and agriculture.

The 2025 edition also seeks to highlight the innovation and dynamism of Algeria’s emerging economic forces, notably start-ups, SMEs, and local cooperatives. In an effort to promote cultural and economic exchanges, the exhibition will also spotlight craftsmanship, tourism, fisheries, textile and leather industries, and household and office furniture.

A standout feature of this edition is the authorization of direct sales to visitors, granting Algerian exhibitors the opportunity to test-market their products, secure commercial deals, and enhance brand recognition in the growing Mauritanian market.

“This fair reflects our firm commitment to fostering South-South economic integration,” affirmed the Ministry, citing the fair as “a concrete mechanism for supporting national producers, expanding Algeria’s exports, and building bridges of economic solidarity with sister nations such as Mauritania.”

The Ministry has invited all Algerian economic operators involved in production and export who wish to take part in this promising event to register online via the official link: https://www.mcepe.gov.dz/index.php/ar/mauritanie2025.
