The Ambassador of Algeria to the State of Qatar, Mustafa Boutoura, discussed with the chairman of the board of directors of Al-Faisal Holding Company and the president of the Qatar Businessmen’s Association, Cheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, of the necessary arrangements to start implementing some of the investment projects of interest to the Al-Faisal company in several fields, including agriculture, education, tourism, transport and others.
A statement from the Embassy said today, Friday, that Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani expressed, during a lengthy session he held with the Algerian Ambassador in Doha on August 29, the need to expedite the completion of all procedures to commence implementation of several major agreed projects.
The Qatari businessman also underlined “the importance of Algeria as a country which has all the means to invest in all sectors, particularly in the light of the new investment law”.
During this session, the Algerian diplomat explained the most important advantages and guarantees included in the new investment law, which encourage investors to come to Algeria.
This meeting is part, according to the statement of the embassy, within the framework of the “continuation of the follow-up of the results of the state visit carried out by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune to the State of Qatar in last February, as well as the results of the visit of a delegation of Qatari businessmen to Algeria last June.
