Algerian, Belgian Foreign Ministers Discuss Progress in Bilateral Cooperation

Algiers – October 2025 – In a continuation of the sustained diplomatic momentum between Algeria and the Kingdom of Belgium, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received on Thursday a telephone call from Maxime Prévot, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, and Development Cooperation of Belgium.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, the two ministers reviewed the progress achieved in the implementation of the decisions jointly adopted during Minister Prévot’s official visit to Algeria last July, a visit that marked an important step in revitalizing bilateral cooperation and laying the groundwork for a renewed, dynamic partnership between Algiers and Brussels.
The conversation also focused on the ongoing preparations for upcoming bilateral engagements, reflecting the shared determination of both countries to consolidate dialogue, expand cooperation frameworks, and deepen coordination across various sectors of mutual interest.
