Algerian Civil Society Urges Global Action to Halt Ongoing Aggression in Gaza

ALGIERS- The continuous Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza since October 7th has sparked indignation among Algerian civil society organizations. The massive destruction in the Gaza Strip and the atrocities committed against its population demand vigorous condemnation and opposition from the entire international community, especially the five veto-wielding countries at the UN Security Council, according to Rabah Mouloudj, President of the Association of Children of Martyrs in the Tizi-Ouzou province.
“It is imperative to demand that this criminal entity cease massacring the population of Gaza and indiscriminately bombing schools, hospitals, mosques, and residences,” he asserted. Urgent action from the international community is required to halt this humanitarian catastrophe against the Palestinian people. Mouloudj expressed outrage at the passivity of the International Criminal Court (ICC), which has been slow to bring the occupying Zionist entity to trial for war crimes and genocide, despite continuous pleas from lawyers and international humanitarian law experts.
“Why is this international court delaying an investigation into the aggression and massacres of Gaza’s population by the Zionist occupation army and issuing arrest warrants against the perpetrators of these heinous crimes?” questioned Rabah Mouloudj. He denounced what he sees as the neighboring countries’ passivity, criticizing them for issuing mere condemnation statements instead of severing ties with the aggressor entity.
