ALGIERS โ February 23, 2026 โ In a heartfelt demonstration of solidarity and community engagement, the Algerian Embassy in Belgium, in collaboration with the Association of Hope for Mothers and Children, organized a special solidarity dinner honoring Algerian patients, with a particular focus on children receiving treatment at the Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc in the Belgian capital.
The event was presided over by Algerian Ambassador Mohamed Amine Bencherif and his spouse, alongside Mourad Sahli, Mayor of Chapelle-lez-Herlaimont, and attended by young patients and their families. The evening unfolded in an atmosphere suffused with warmth, empathy, and mutual support, reflecting the deep human values embedded in the Algerian community abroad.
The children expressed their gratitude through the presentation of beautifully crafted artworks to the Ambassadorโa poignant gesture that captured both their innocence and joy at being the focus of this initiative.
