Algiers, Algeria | May 28, 2024 — Charged by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, has arrived in Beijing, China, today.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Attaf will participate in the tenth ministerial meeting of the Sino-Arab Cooperation Forum.
During this visit, Mr. Attaf is scheduled to hold discussions with his Chinese counterpart, Mr. Wang Wenbin, and meet with other Chinese officials. These meetings aim to follow up on the implementation of the outcomes of President Tebboune’s state visit to China in July of the previous year, the statement added.
This visit underscores the ongoing efforts to strengthen and expand the strategic partnership between Algeria and China, focusing on various areas of mutual interest and cooperation.
