Algerian Foreign Minister Meets New Resident Representative of WFP

ALGIERS- Ahmed Attaf, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, welcomed Aline Rumongi, the newly appointed Resident Representative of the World Food Programme (WFP) in Algeria on Monday.

During the meeting, Aline Rumongi presented her credentials to Minister Attaf, marking the official commencement of her role as the Resident Representative of WFP in Algeria.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement noting that Aline Rumongi conveyed messages from the organization’s headquarters, and in her capacity as the new resident representative, expressed her commitment to strengthening the partnership between WFP and Algeria.

The meeting emphasized the importance of collaboration between Algeria and WFP in addressing food security challenges and supporting initiatives aimed at alleviating hunger and malnutrition.
