Algerian Interior Ministry Announces Competitive Recruitment Drive: 830 New Positions for Emerging Administrative Districts

Algiers – September 2025 – In a step toward consolidating administrative decentralization and enhancing governance efficiency, the Ministry of Interior, Local Assemblies, and Transport has officially launched a large-scale recruitment campaign for the year 2025. The ministry confirmed the opening of 830 positions across various administrative and technical corps, to be filled through competitions based on academic qualifications.
This recruitment initiative is directly linked to the establishment of seven newly created administrative districts in the High Plateaus region: Aflou, Barika, Ksar Chellala, Messaad, Ain Oussera, Boussaâda, and El-Bayadh Sidi Cheikh. According to the ministry’s announcement, the positions will span multiple categories, including the shared administrative corps, architectural engineers, and urban planning specialists, as stipulated in Annex 01 of the official decree.
The ministry further emphasized that applications are strictly reserved for residents of the municipalities falling under these newly created districts, in line with the eligibility conditions specified in Annex 02. Candidates are required to submit their applications either physically at the Directorates of Local Administration of the relevant provinces—Laghouat, Batna, Tiaret, Djelfa, M’sila, and El-Bayadh—or digitally through the official platform: https://dgrhfs.dgtn.gov.dz.
The registration window spans 15 working days, commencing on September 28, 2025, with the ministry urging all applicants to meticulously respect deadlines and carefully review the detailed requirements of each position.
