Algerian Investment Promotion Agency Gains Prominent Global Recognition in WAIPA 2024–2025 Report

Algiers – October 2025 – In a new testament to Algeria’s rising prominence in the global investment landscape, the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) has been prominently featured in the 2024–2025 annual report of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), which underscored its leading role within Africa’s investment promotion ecosystem.
According to the WAIPA report, AAPI’s organization of the African Investment Promotion Agencies Mini-Summit on September 5, 2025, held on the sidelines of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), represented a milestone event that provided a strategic platform for the exchange of expertise and the strengthening of regional cooperation in investment attraction. The visit, as noted in the report, reflects WAIPA’s recognition of Algeria’s growing influence and the relevance of its model in developing a robust and modernized investment promotion system.
Furthermore, WAIPA’s assessment drew attention to AAPI’s active participation in a series of major regional and international events, which it described as a testament to the agency’s expanding presence and dynamic engagement in advancing continental economic integration and enhancing Africa’s overall investment appeal. Through its consistent outreach and strategic partnerships, AAPI continues to project Algeria’s image as a reliable, forward-looking destination for sustainable investment.
