Algerian Parliamentary Speaker Ibrahim Boughali Receives Belarusian Delegation to Strengthen Bilateral and Parliamentary Cooperation

๐๐ต๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป๐ผ โ ๐๐ช๐ท๐พ๐ช๐ป๐ ๐๐๐๐ โย In a move reflecting the steady expansion of Algeriaโs parliamentary diplomacy, the Speaker of the Peopleโs National Assembly (APN), Ibrahim Boughali, received on Tuesday in Algiers a delegation from the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. The meeting forms part of ongoing efforts to deepen bilateral relations and reinforce inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
According to an official statement issued by the Peopleโs National Assembly, the Belarusian delegation was led by Kossyguine Rouslan, Chairman of the Working Group for Cooperation with the Algerian Parliament. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, diversifying economic cooperation, and developing joint projects in strategic sectors, including industry, agriculture, mechanics, military industries, and pharmaceuticals.
At the parliamentary level, both sides stressed the importance of intensifying dialogue between parliamentary friendship groups and enhancing coordination on regional and international issues of common interest. The Belarusian delegation commended the quality of bilateral relations and expressed its strong willingness to further expand economic and technological cooperation with Algeria.
Following the talks, the delegation paid a visit to the headquarters of the Peopleโs National Assembly, touring key facilities including the plenary session hall and the โRabah Bitatโ conference hall.
