Algiers, Algeria | The Algerian pavilion at the 62nd Damascus International Fair has emerged as one of the most visited attractions of the event, drawing large numbers of visitors eager to discover the quality and diversity of Algerian products, according to a statement issued Thursday by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion.
On the second day of the fair — held from August 27 to September 5 — Algerian companies participating in the exhibition sparked considerable interest among attendees. Their offerings, the ministry noted, reflect the growing success and recognition of the “Made in Algeria” label across the Arab world.
Fourteen National Enterprises Showcasing Strategic Sectors
More than a commercial showcase, Algeria’s presence at this major economic event represents what the ministry described as “a bridge of fraternity and communication between business leaders and investors from both countries, as well as an opportunity for the exchange of expertise and the strengthening of economic integration in service of the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.”
The Algerian pavilion brings together 14 national companies operating in promising and strategic sectors, including construction materials and public works, renewable energies, cosmetics, and agri-food products.
Organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Algeria’s participation at the Damascus International Fair “embodies the shared determination of the two brotherly nations to consolidate bonds of fraternity and reinforce bilateral economic cooperation in pursuit of their common interests,” the statement concluded.
