Algerian Red Crescent Sends First Convoy to El Bayadh Province

ALGIERS- The Algerian Red Crescent has dispatched its inaugural aid convoy to the El Bayadh province and its affiliated district, El Bayadh Sidi Ali El Cheikh. This convoy, comprising various essential supplies, marks the beginning of a comprehensive humanitarian assistance program aimed at supporting families during the holy month of Ramadan.

The convoy includes 2,000 food parcels, blankets, mattresses, equipment, wheelchairs, and medical supplies. The program is scheduled to reach over 100,000 families, with priority given to southern, border, and nomadic communities.

This initiative reflects the Algerian Red Crescent’s commitment to addressing the needs of vulnerable populations, particularly during significant religious and cultural observances such as Ramadan. It underscores the organization’s dedication to providing essential support to communities across Algeria, ensuring that families have access to vital resources during times of need.
