An Algerian start-up has achieved a remarkable feat by clinching the first-place position in the competition titled “Arab Challenge for the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence.” The event, held in Dubai, showcased the innovative prowess of the region’s brightest minds.
The victorious start-up, known as “Tarik Education Center,” stood out among its peers with its groundbreaking project: the development of a digital platform called “Tarik.” This platform is specifically designed to introduce children to the captivating world of artificial intelligence and programming through engaging and easily comprehensible electronic games.
The competition took place alongside the renowned “Gitex Global” international multimedia and technology exhibition, held at the World Trade Center in Dubai from October 16 to 20. This event served as a platform for industry leaders, visionaries, and innovators to converge and exchange ideas.
Organized by the Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Technology Administration Division (IEEE TEMS), in collaboration with the University of Dubai, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and Global Innovation & Entrepreneurship (GIE), the competition witnessed the participation of 13 Arab countries. This collaborative effort aimed to foster technological advancements and entrepreneurial spirit across the region.
The triumph of the Algerian start-up in this fiercely competitive arena not only highlights their exceptional talent but also underscores the growing prominence of the Algerian tech industry on the global stage.
