The government is expected to formally adopt the integration rate calculation framework, a key document that will establish objective criteria and performance indicators to measure the actual local contribution in the manufacturing process.

Minister Ghrieb stressed that this moment represents a clear break from past superficial practices, notably what he referred to as the “mere inflation of tires,” which symbolized prior hollow approaches to industrial policy. The new path, he declared, aims to build a genuine, autonomous, and value-generating automotive industry, capable of securing national economic resilience.
