Minister Mohamed Meziane Gives Verbal Approval to Initiative Proposed by the Association “El-Kalima”

Algiers, Algeria | June 1st, 2025 — In a step towards promoting the Arabic language in national media, the Ministry of Communication has given its verbal consent to sponsor a major national forum titled “Ad-Dhad in National Media Outlets.” The request for official sponsorship was submitted by the Association “El-Kalima” for Culture and Media, led by its president Ahmed Bouchikhi.

According to Bouchikhi, Minister of Communication Mohamed Meziane welcomed the idea of the forum and offered verbal approval for the ministry’s sponsorship. This development was shared by Abdelali Mezghiche through a post on his official Facebook account.

Bouchikhi further stated that the date, venue, and thematic axes of the forum will be officially announced immediately after receiving the written confirmation of sponsorship from the Minister in the coming days.
