Algeria’s Weather Forecast for Sunday, 21 December 2025: Veiled to Overcast Skies Across the North and Clear to Partly Cloudy Conditions in the South
Algiers – December 2025 – Algeria is set to experience variable weather conditions this Sunday, 21 December 2025, with veiled to partly cloudy skies dominating the northern and central regions, while southern areas will enjoy generally clearer conditions with occasional cloud cover, according to the national weather service.
In the western regions, skies will remain veiled to lightly clouded throughout the day, whereas central areas will experience fluctuating conditions, ranging from clear to partly veiled and overcast. Eastern regions will see occasional sunny intervals, though the morning will remain mostly veiled to overcast.
During the afternoon, northern Algeria will witness generally clear to partially veiled skies, with increasing cloud cover over the West accompanied by scattered showers in the evening. Southern regions, including the South-West and central Sahara, will enjoy clear to partly cloudy conditions, while the northern and eastern Sahara will remain mostly cloudy with occasional breaks of sunlight.
Temperature ranges will show moderate seasonal variation. Morning temperatures are expected between 8°C and 16°C along the coastal regions, 4°C to 14°C across the interior and High Plateaus, and 10°C to 24°C in the Sahara. Afternoon readings will range from 9°C to 16°C on the coast, 6°C to 16°C inland and over the High Plateaus, and 11°C to 26°C across the Sahara. Overnight lows will drop to 5°C–12°C along the coastal regions, 2°C–10°C in the interior and High Plateaus, and 5°C–18°C in the Saharan regions.
