Algeria’s Weather Forecast for Wednesday, 10 December 2025: Clear Skies in the North, Stormy Conditions in the South

Algiers – December 2025 – Algeria’s meteorological services are forecasting a day marked by contrasting weather patterns across the national territory this Wednesday, 10 December 2025. Northern regions will benefit from stable and largely clear conditions, while parts of the South brace for unsettled and locally stormy weather.
In the early hours of the morning, light fog and low clouds are expected to linger over coastal areas and nearby inland regions. These formations will gradually dissipate, giving way to skies that remain clear to lightly veiled throughout the northern regions for the rest of the day. This shift sets the tone for a relatively calm atmosphere across the northern belt.
In contrast, southern zones—particularly the southern Oasis areas, the Eastern Sahara, and the Djanet region—will see more changeable conditions. The meteorological services indicate thinly veiled to locally cloudy skies accompanied by isolated local showers. An improvement is expected later in the afternoon as the weather stabilizes.
Across the rest of the South, skies will remain generally clear to partly veiled. However, conditions are forecast to evolve toward increasing cloudiness over the Southwest during the afternoon, culminating in isolated thunderstorm activity beginning late in the evening. These developments point to a dynamic and moisture-laden atmosphere over the broader Saharan expanse.
Temperature variations remain significant across regions. Morning temperatures will range between 16°C and 20°C along the coasts, 11°C to 20°C across inland areas and the High Plateaus, and 15°C to 24°C throughout the Sahara. By afternoon, temperatures will stabilise at cooler seasonal values: 12°C to 19°C in coastal regions, 13°C to 21°C inland and across the High Plateaus, and 17°C to 26°C in Saharan zones. Nighttime cooling will bring temperatures down to between 7°C and 12°C along the coast, 5°C to 12°C inland and on the High Plateaus, and 8°C to 16°C across the Sahara.
