Algiers – December 2025 – The National Météorological Services report that atmospheric conditions on Sunday, December 7, 2025, will present a predominantly veiled sky over the western regions of the country, while central areas are expected to remain clear. In the eastern parts, skies will vary from clear to partially veiled, whereas the extreme east will experience overcast conditions.
Wind speeds are anticipated to range between 10 and 20 km/h across most regions, contributing to a generally mild climatic feel for this time of year.
In the southern territories, the skies will remain generally veiled, with Tindouf experiencing predominantly overcast conditions. Winds in the south are expected to blow at speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, potentially reaching up to 30 km/h in the extreme southern zones.
Temperature Outlook:
Morning temperatures will fluctuate between 16 and 21°C along the coastal regions, 12 to 18°C in the interior and High Plateaus, and 15 to 23°C across the Saharan expanse.
By afternoon, coastal temperatures are projected to range from 15 to 20°C, with the interior and High Plateaus registering between 11 and 20°C, while Saharan regions could reach 16 to 24°C.
During the night, temperatures will cool to 7–12°C along the coast, 3–11°C in the interior and High Plateaus, and 7–17°C across the Sahara.
