ALGIERS โ February 23, 2026 โ The Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League and Head of the Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories Sector, Ambassador Faid Mustafa, met with Algeriaโs Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Mohamed Sofiane Barrah, to deliberate on the latest developments in Palestine and the ongoing political and humanitarian situation.
The high-level discussion, held at the headquarters of the Arab League, focused on a range of pressing issues of mutual concern. Central to the agenda were the profound challenges confronting the Palestinian cause amid the dire conditions in the Gaza Strip, which continues to bear the brunt of years of devastating conflict.
