Arrest warrant against former Minister Delegate in charge of Micro-enterprise Diafat confirmed

ALGIERS- The indictment chamber at the Court of Algiers confirmed, on Tuesday, the arrest warrant issued against the former Minister Delegate in charge of Micro-enterprise, Nassim Diafat, prosecuted for charges of corruption.

The Indictment Chamber rejected the request for release made by the defendant’s defense, thus confirming his remand in custody by the investigating judge at the Criminal, Economic and Financial Pole of the Sidi M’hamed tribunal.

Nassim Diafat and his co-defendants are being prosecuted in a corruption case linked to the Algerian company for the construction of metal equipment and infrastructure (ALRIM).
