Bengrina Emphasizes Importance of Strengthening Domestic Front in Face of Various Challenges

ALGIERS- Abdelkader Bengrina, the President of the El Bina movement, highlighted on Monday the importance of reinforcing the domestic front in the face of various challenges, especially attempts by certain parties to destabilize the country.

In a statement to the press following his audience with the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, at the presidential palace, Bengrina described the meeting as “positive and fruitful.” He stated that they discussed several national and international issues, emphasizing the need to “strengthen the domestic front to prevent any infiltration onto the national stage and to maintain unity.”

Emphasizing the necessity for Algerians to “realize the reality of external dangers that have destroyed other states,” Bengrina warned against attempts to “divide the national ranks.”

He also indicated that the meeting addressed “upcoming events and their implications for supporting the stability of state institutions,” as well as the importance of taking the time to implement programs.

Bengrina further mentioned discussing with the President “the revision of the electoral code,” as well as “support for purchasing power and other issues related to easing measures,” particularly concerning online platforms and the integration of doctoral degree holders.

He added that the President of the Republic “is aware of their problem, which is being addressed, and has agreed to their integration in the near future.”

Regarding the Palestinian cause, Bengrina reaffirmed “El Bina Movement’s support for Algeria’s diplomatic and political resistance within the Security Council and in various international forums.”
