ALGIERS– A well-informed source to Dzair Tube stressed that the false allegations relayed on social media, undermining the reputation of the Algerian police and distorting the image of this apparatus, are unfounded.
In this wake, the police only implemented the decision of the Directorate of Commerce of Algiers’ province to seal the commercial store under the type “advertising agency”, owned by “LM”, which produces audiovisual material for “Berbère TV”. The shop, located in the municipality of Mouradia, Sidi M’hamed, Algiers, has been sealed for 60 days due to “non-billing”.
The malicious campaign against the Algerian police on social media aims, noteworthy, to discredit Algerian security services that are deploying tremendous efforts in combating corruption and defending the country.
