Bouamama, Saudi Ambassador Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Media Cooperation

Algiers – October 2025 – The Minister of Communication, Mr. Zoheir Bouamama, received on Thursday, October 30, at the Ministry’s headquarters, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Algeria, His Excellency Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Bussairy. The meeting, held in a spirit of mutual respect and partnership, focused on expanding avenues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of information and communication, according to a statement released by the Ministry.
During the talks, both officials underscored the importance of fostering a robust and forward-looking partnership between Algerian and Saudi media institutions, aiming to enhance the exchange of expertise, strengthen professional ties, and promote balanced and objective media narratives that reflect the aspirations and values shared by both nations.
The discussions also explored mechanisms to develop and diversify media content, positioning it as a key instrument in consolidating bilateral relations and projecting the positive image of both Algeria and Saudi Arabia on regional and international platforms.
Minister Bouamama reaffirmed Algeria’s commitment to reinforcing collaboration with the Saudi media sector, highlighting the role of communication as a strategic tool for deepening mutual understanding and supporting the broader framework of cooperation that unites the two countries under shared cultural and political objectives.
For his part, Ambassador Al Bussairy commended the continuous evolution of Algerian-Saudi relations and expressed his readiness to work toward concrete initiatives that would further bridge media institutions, encourage joint productions, and promote dialogue between the two peoples through credible and responsible journalism.
