Algiers – December 2025 – The Minister of Communication, Zoheir Bouamama, is taking part on 11 and 12 December in the proceedings of the International Forum for Arab Media Dialogue, held in Tripoli, Libya. His participation comes at the invitation of the Libyan Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Ellafi, according to a statement released Wednesday by the Ministry of Communication.
Organized under the patronage of Abdelhamid Mohamed Dbeibah, Head of the Libyan Government of National Unity, and coordinated with the Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Information Ministers under the League of Arab States, the forum convenes leading Arab media figures, policymakers, and experts to address the sector’s most pressing challenges.
The event will serve as a platform to examine several major media-related issues of strategic importance to the Arab world. At the forefront is the reaffirmation of the centrality of the Palestinian cause and the Arab identity of Al-Quds, the capital of the State of Palestine. Participants will also explore questions related to Arab identity and media content production, professional training for journalists, the development of digital media output, and the integration of artificial intelligence into media systems—an area increasingly shaping the future of communication in the region.
On the sidelines of the forum, Minister Bouamama will attend the official inauguration ceremony of the Libyan National Museum, one of the country’s most emblematic cultural and civilizational landmarks, underscoring Algeria’s commitment to strengthening fraternal ties with Libya and supporting initiatives that preserve the Arab world’s shared heritage.
