Condor Launches Ambitious Programme to Create 300 Micro-Enterprises in Home Appliance Maintenance

Algiers – October 2025 – In a new stride that reaffirms its role as a pillar of industrial and social development in Algeria, Condor Group has unveiled an ambitious national programme aimed at creating 300 micro-enterprises specialized in the maintenance and repair of household appliances and electronic equipment. This initiative, officially announced by the Minister of Vocational Training and Education, marks a significant step toward fostering youth entrepreneurship, enhancing employability, and building a self-sustaining ecosystem in the service and maintenance sector.
The launch ceremony, held at the Condor Academy in Bordj Bou Arréridj, took place in the presence of the Wali of Bordj Bou Arréridj, the Director General of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development, and other high-ranking officials, reflecting the strong institutional backing for this socio-economic venture.
Under this pioneering programme, Condor will cover the rental costs of commercial premises for an entire year, enabling 300 young graduates from vocational training centers and institutes to establish their own micro-enterprises without bearing the heavy burden of start-up expenses. In addition, Condor will provide each beneficiary with the necessary technical equipment, tools, and materials required for the repair and maintenance of electronic and electrical appliances, ensuring that each new business is operational from day one.
Beyond material support, the initiative also emphasizes skills development and capacity building. Condor has announced tailored training and qualification programmes aimed at strengthening the technical expertise and managerial abilities of the young entrepreneurs. These courses will focus particularly on after-sales services—a sector witnessing rapid expansion in Algeria’s growing consumer market—and will equip participants with the competencies necessary to meet international standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
