ALGIERS- Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Attaf traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark, on Wednesday to represent Algeria in the 21st periodic ministerial meeting of African-Nordic countries, as directed by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The theme of this session, “Multilateralism and Strengthening of Trade Exchanges and Joint Investments,” aims to address various important issues concerning peace, security, economic cooperation, and global governance. It also seeks to explore opportunities for enhancing partnership between African and Nordic countries through a new mutually beneficial approach.

Algeria’s participation follows its hosting of the previous edition, which resulted in significant outcomes to be further pursued in this new session.

The meeting serves as a platform for dialogue and collaboration between African and Nordic countries on a range of mutual interests, including trade, investment, sustainable development, and regional integration.

Minister Attaf is expected to underline Algeria’s commitment to multilateralism and its efforts to strengthen economic relations with Nordic countries. He will also discuss opportunities for increased cooperation and partnership across various sectors such as energy, technology, and education.
