DGSN, Ministry of National Solidarity Sign Strategic Training Agreement

Algiers – November 2025 – In a move to bolster institutional cooperation and elevate professional competencies within the national police force, the Ministry of National Solidarity, Family, and the Status of Women has formally signed an agreement with the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN). The convention aims to enhance the knowledge base and professional capabilities of police personnel in the domain of social services.
Minister Soraya Mouloudji emphasized that the agreement represents a pivotal step in fortifying collaboration between state institutions. She framed the initiative within the broader national vision, which prioritizes investment in human capital as a cornerstone for sustainable development. The minister underscored that professional training constitutes a central lever for improving the knowledge and performance of officials and staff across the various state agencies. She also highlighted her ministry’s ongoing efforts in the training and qualification of educators, social action professionals, and specialists in vocational reintegration.
DGSN Chief Ali Badaoui described the agreement as the culmination of significant joint efforts, reflecting a strategic approach to institutional complementarity in service of society and the nation. He stressed the critical role of training in developing human resources and enhancing public service delivery.
The agreement particularly targets personnel responsible for managing social and cultural centers, social workers, support staff, and leaders of child protection and care institutions. Badaoui asserted that these comprehensive training programs will directly support the DGSN’s social policy objectives, ensuring that the force’s members receive optimal attention to both their professional and social welfare needs.
