Algiers, Algeria | September 29th, 2024 — Algerian telecommunications giant Djezzy has forged a strategic alliance with the National Employment Agency (ANEM) to revolutionize the recruitment landscape through digital transformation and bolster employability nationwide. Announced in a press release on Saturday, this partnership marks a significant advancement toward modernizing the hiring process in the telecom sector by harnessing digital platforms to optimize job placement and employment services.
The signing ceremony, held at Djezzy’s Algiers headquarters, was attended by senior officials, including Djezzy’s Director General, Mahieddine Allouche, and ANEM’s Director General, Abdelkader Djabeur. This collaboration aims to integrate Djezzy’s recruitment activities with ANEM’s cutting-edge digital systems, such as the OGC platform and the Wassit Online network, providing a fully streamlined and efficient approach to employment solutions.
Transforming Recruitment Through Digital Innovation
This partnership represents a major turning point in Algeria’s recruitment services, particularly in the economic public sector. By connecting with ANEM’s digital systems, Djezzy will be able to post job vacancies directly to the platform, leading to faster, more transparent, and highly efficient recruitment processes. Through the OGC platform, Djezzy will have the capability to submit job offers in real-time, benefiting from ANEM’s extensive networks to match job seekers with openings more effectively.
In return, ANEM will create dedicated online accounts for Djezzy, allowing the telecom company to post and process job advertisements within a streamlined five-day window—a notable improvement over traditional timelines. This enhanced system is poised to dramatically reduce hiring delays while expanding job placement opportunities through ANEM’s 58 regional offices. Automated tools will ensure Djezzy receives regular feedback and real-time updates throughout the recruitment cycle, improving communication and boosting overall efficiency.
A Landmark Development for Algerian Employment
This agreement heralds a new era in Algeria’s employment landscape, signaling a stronger alignment between the public and private sectors to promote job creation and workforce development. As Algeria’s leading public employment service, ANEM plays a critical role in connecting job seekers with employers. This partnership underscores ANEM’s commitment to delivering more personalized services while embracing modern technological advancements to increase its reach and effectiveness.
For Djezzy, this collaboration is a key element of its broader digital transformation agenda, which prioritizes human resources as a driver of sustainable growth. By attracting and retaining top-tier Algerian talent, Djezzy is fostering a dynamic workforce capable of contributing to high-impact, innovative projects that support the national economy.
