Ethiopian Premier Commends Algeria’s Stance, Anticipates President Tebboune’s Visit for Strengthening Bilateral Ties

ALGIERS- Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui held a meeting with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali, during which Abiy Ali expressed his deep appreciation for President Tebboune.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s office, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali expressed his anticipation for President Tebboune’s visit to Ethiopia, aiming to further enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.

The statement also highlighted that the Ethiopian official praised Algeria’s positions, considering it as one of the few authentic countries that still defend the values and principles of the African continent.

The meeting between the Prime Minister and the Ethiopian Prime Minister occurred on the sidelines of Larbaoui’s participation in the International Development Association (IDA) Summit, where he represented President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

Ethiopia’s recognition of Algeria’s stance underscores the importance of Algeria’s role in upholding African values and principles, as well as its dedication to strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
