Fiat lowers prices of vehicles marketed in Algeria

ALGIERS- Stellantis’ Fiat Algeria announced, this Sunday, that it had lowered the prices of vehicles marketed in Algeria, following the obtaining of the European origin label (EUR.1), several media reported.

The Fiat 500 hybrid is displayed at a price of 2.38 million dinars (including tax) instead of 2.638 million dinars, while the price of Fiat 500 x went from 3.790 million dinars to 3.435 million dinars, a drop of 355,000 dinars. The Fiat Doblo is displayed at a price of 3.178 million dinars against 3.259 million dinars.

The price of Fiat Scudo went from 3.97 million dinars to 3.825 million dinars while the Fiat Ducato stands for 4.019 million dinars against 4.12 million dinars. Only the Fiat Tipo is not affected by this price drop.

Carlos Tavares, Chairman and CEO of Stellantis, on his part, voiced, on multiple occasions, that Algeria, a strategic partner for his country, Italy, is one of the growth priorities for Stellantis.

A framework agreement was signed, October 13th, 2022, in Algiers, between Mr. Samir Cherfan, Chief Operating Officer of Middle East & Africa region of Stellantis, and Mr. Boussoussa Zineddine, Director of Cooperation of the Algerian Ministry of Industry.

This framework agreement covers a project for the development in Algeria of industrial, after-sales and spare parts activities for Fiat, one of the emblematic brands of Stellantis, as well as the development of the automotive sector in Algeria.
