Framework Agreement Signed between Algerian Red Crescent, National Organization for Economic Cooperation

ALGIERS- A framework agreement was signed, on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, between the Algerian Red Crescent and the National Organization for Economic Cooperation. The signing ceremony took place at the Red Crescent headquarters located on Mohammed V Street in Central Algiers.

The agreement was formally endorsed by Dr. Ibtissem Hamlaoui, the President of the Algerian Red Crescent, and Mr. Boqaa Ali Zine El Abidine, the President of the National Organization for Economic Cooperation.

This agreement aims to foster a fresh wave of development and investment, underpinned by a strong humanitarian ethos that places social welfare at its core. The primary objective is to initiate investment projects that will drive economic stability and progress, while simultaneously conducting a comprehensive socio-economic study of the most remote and vulnerable regions. This study will be carried out in close collaboration with local groups, ensuring their active participation and engagement.

By forging this alliance, the Algerian Red Crescent and the National Organization for Economic Cooperation are poised to create a transformative impact on the socio-economic landscape. The joint efforts will not only address the pressing needs of marginalized communities but also lay the foundation for sustainable development and prosperity.
