General Saïd Chanegriha Explores Cutting-Edge Defense Technologies at ADEX 2025

Algiers – October 2025 – As part of the third day of his official visit to the Republic of Korea, General of the Army Saïd Chanegriha, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, visited on Tuesday several stands at the Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition (ADEX 2025), one of the most prominent global platforms showcasing technological innovation in defense and aeronautics.
According to a communiqué issued by the Ministry of National Defence (MDN), General Chanegriha and the accompanying delegation reviewed the latest defense systems, industrial innovations, and advanced technologies displayed by leading international companies operating in the defense and aerospace sectors.
The visit began at the pavilion of the South Korean company LIG Nex1, a major manufacturer specializing in missile systems, radar, communications technologies, and electronic warfare solutions. The Algerian delegation attended a detailed presentation highlighting LIG’s most recent innovations in air defense and advanced technology applications. General Chanegriha and his delegation toured the company’s exhibition area, where they familiarized themselves with the range of systems and defense equipment produced by LIG.
During the visit, LIG executives expressed their strong interest in enhancing cooperation with Algeria, emphasizing the importance of knowledge and expertise exchange in fields of mutual strategic interest, in the spirit of serving the shared goals of both friendly nations.
General Chanegriha then proceeded to the Kia Motors pavilion, where company representatives presented a comprehensive overview of the latest models of specialized military and utility vehicles, showcasing Kia’s advanced industrial capabilities and technological innovations. The presentation underscored the growing role of South Korean industries in developing modern mobility solutions adapted for defense purposes.
The tour concluded with a visit to the Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) pavilion, a company renowned for its expertise in manufacturing fighter aircraft and aerospace technologies. The Algerian Chief of Staff and his delegation were briefed on KAI’s current and future projects, particularly those related to aeronautical research, development, and technological innovation.
Impressed by the high level of technological advancement achieved by KAI, General Chanegriha commended the company’s contribution to the global aerospace sector and reaffirmed Algeria’s interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation in the areas of research, development, training, and industrial partnership.
