Algiers, Algeria | July 7th, 2025 —  On the morning of Saturday, July 5, 2025, the national headquarters of the El Binaa El Watani Movement in Algiers hosted a high-level delegation from the Global Coalition for El Quds and Palestine, alongside senior representatives from the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas. This significant meeting coincided with Algeria’s commemoration of Independence and Youth Day, lending profound symbolic weight to the occasion.

The delegation included Eng. Munir Saeed Abu Abdulrahman, Secretary-General of the Global Coalition for El Quds and Palestine, his deputy Mr. Ziad Boumakhla, and Dr. Mohamed Saeed Bah, all of whom are currently on a working visit to Algeria. Also present was Dr. Youcef Hamdan, Hamas’s official representative in Algeria, accompanied by Dr. Ezzedine Rentissi and Mr. Hicham Yaacoub, members of the movement’s representation office.

The guests were warmly received by Mr. Abdelkader Bengrina, President of the El Binaa Movement, along with Mr. Nasreddine Salem Cherif, President of the National Shura Council, and several senior national leaders of the movement.

In a spirit of mutual fraternity and strategic alignment, the guests conveyed their congratulations to the Algerian people and the El Binaa Movement on the 63rd anniversary of Algeria’s hard-won independence—a moment that continues to inspire liberation movements across the Arab and Islamic world. The meeting served as an important platform for in-depth discussions on the rapidly evolving developments in the Palestinian arena, including political negotiations and regional challenges.

The delegation provided a detailed briefing on the current status of the Palestinian cause, outlining both the humanitarian realities on the ground and the complexities of the diplomatic front. The El Binaa leadership reiterated Algeria’s unwavering and principled support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, emphasizing that Algeria’s historical stance remains rooted in justice, dignity, and resistance to all forms of normalization with the Zionist entity.

The encounter reinforced the long-standing and strategic partnership between Algerian popular movements and the Palestinian resistance. It concluded with a shared commitment to intensifying coordination, mobilizing support for the Palestinian cause across Africa and the Arab world, and resisting all attempts to undermine the legitimacy of the resistance or marginalize the voice of justice in international forums.
