The first item on the agenda focused on the continuation of discussions surrounding the draft executive decree defining the conditions and modalities governing audiovisual production and the filming of audiovisual works. This text forms part of the broader effort to finalize the promulgation of the implementing regulations of the law regulating audiovisual activity. The decree aims to establish an integrated regulatory framework for the sector, introducing procedural facilitation in the submission and processing of related applications, thereby promoting clarity, efficiency, and institutional coherence within the audiovisual production landscape.
The second item consisted of a governmental communication addressing the mechanisms and programs proposed to ensure a responsible and sustainable approach to supporting assisted youth over the age of 18. In this context, the Government is working to establish a dedicated framework tailored to this category, designed to facilitate their professional and social integration under conditions that remove structural and administrative barriers, in line with the Stateโs broader social inclusion strategy.
The third and final point addressed the national climate change adaptation plan, with discussions centered on strengthening Algeriaโs resilience in the face of climate change and mounting environmental challenges. This initiative underscores the Governmentโs commitment to proactive environmental governance and long-term sustainability, aiming to safeguard national resources and reinforce adaptive capacities across sectors.
