Government Meeting: Social Welfare and Foot-and-Mouth Disease Vaccination in Focus

ALGIERS- During the weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui, the government delved into the practical aspects of implementing President Tebboune’s directives. The focus was on ensuring the supply of raw materials to the national market and stabilizing their prices to safeguard citizens’ purchasing power.

According to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s office, the government also examined proposals aimed at enhancing and streamlining university services, particularly living conditions in university residences.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of accelerating and expanding the free distribution of carbon monoxide detectors to all households. This initiative aims to prevent domestic accidents that often result in numerous fatalities.

The government also reviewed the efforts and measures taken to prevent the spread of foot-and-mouth disease, underlining the commitment to addressing this agricultural concern.
