On Saturday, the Minister of Interior, Local Assemblies and Transport visited the wilaya of Oran, accompanied by Minister of State for Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab, the Minister of Hydraulics, and Secretary of State for the National Community Abroad Sofiane Chaรฏb.

In higher education, Minister Kamel Baddari carried out an unannounced visit to the Ben Aknoun girlsโ university residence in Algiers, assessing catering, accommodation, and living conditions for students during Ramadan.
Infrastructure Projects Accelerated
In infrastructure, Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure Abdelkader Djellaoui chaired a session dedicated to the eastern mining railway line linking Bouchegouf to Drรฉa over 121 kilometers.
This segment forms part of a broader 422-kilometer project connecting the phosphate deposit of Bled El Hadba to the port of Annaba, scheduled for delivery before the end of 2026.
Earlier inspections in the eastern wilayas of Tรฉbessa, El Tarf, Annaba, and Souk Ahras emphasized full mobilization of human and material resources, with continuous workday and nightโeven during Ramadan.
Social and Administrative Measures
In the social sector, Minister Soraya Mouloudji conducted an inspection visit to the Sidi Moussa home for the elderly, ensuring implementation of Ramadan support programs.
On February 18, the Interior Minister supervised the launch of regional annexes for document certification in Ouargla and Constantine, part of administrative simplification efforts designed to modernize public services and bring administration closer to citizens.
